The new XEvo is the latest heir to Piaggio’s long tradition on the prestigious GT scooter market. Available in 400, 250 and 125 cc versions, the Piaggio XEvo sets new standards for the top end of the market for comfortable, stylish, spacious and metropolitan scooters.

The XEvo’s elegant lines and uncompromising finish instantly create a clear sense of prestige. The comfortable, ergonomic and protected sitting position delivers a smooth, relaxed ride worthy of any flagship.

The XEvo’s refined styling shares a distinctive family feeling with the rest of the Piaggio GT scooter range. The lines of the XEvo simply exude elegance. Even the smallest detail has been carefully thought out and enhanced with the most prestigious materials. The twin headlights are enclosed behind tinted plastic covers and the direction indicators, which double up as hazard warning indicators, are surrounded by decorative chrome. The grab handles feature a high grip central insert for extra passenger safety, and extends rearwards to form a comfortable backrest. The rear view mirrors, mounted on the front shield and extending to the sides of the high, protective windshield, feature a matching paint finish to emphasise the XEvo’s true class.

The rationality and versatility of the XEvo design emerge clearly from the ample seating for rider and passenger and from an impressive 56 litre under-seat storage compartment, large enough to hold two full-face helmets and objects of up to 80 cm in length, and accessible from the rear as well. Both the seat and the rear door to the storage compartment open with the remote control that comes as standard.
The generous, automobile-derived instrumentation includes not only the usual speedometer and rev counter but a complete series of warning lights and function indicators plus a “trip computer” that lets you keep every function on the Piaggio XEvo under constant control.
The front mudguard integrated in the shield is another new feature. With its higher, fixed position, the new mudguard delivers improved aerodynamic penetration.
An impressive level of equipment characterises the XEvo as a true “Business Class” GT scooter.
The broad, comfortable seat, for example, incorporates a passenger backrest as standard.

Chassis

Using the latest CAD technology, the Piaggio design department has created a scooter that knows no rivals when it comes down to chassis specifications. The steel tube frame has excellent specifications for weight and structural strength. The XEvo’s front suspension is provided by a 35 mm fork while rear suspension is entrusted to two double acting hydraulic shock absorbers with 4-position spring preload adjustment. The brakes are powerful and dependable too. All models boast a 240 mm disc at the rear, while the 125 cc and 250 cc models feature a single 260 mm front disc, compared to two 240 mm front discs on the 400 cc version.
All models are equipped with a 14” front wheel for stability and road holding. On the 125 and 250 the rear wheel is 12” with a generous 130/70 tyre. This grows to a 14” wheel with 140/70 tyre on the 400 for road holding to match the extra power.

Engines

The Piaggio XEvo is available in a choice of three engine sizes, all delivering standard-setting power in their different classes, and all conforming to the strict Euro3 emission control standards.

The Piaggio XEvo 400 ie features a liquid cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve engine, with electronic fuel injection, delivering 34 HP/25 kW but still achieving amazing fuel economy (more than 37 kpl at 60 kph).

The Piaggio XEvo 250 ie is powered by the Quasar engine, one of the most advanced of all modern engines. This liquid cooled, fuel injected, four valve engine delivers 22 HP/16.2 kW at maximum power speed.

The Piaggio XEvo 125 is fitted with a 4 valve 125cc engine that puts out 14.9 HP/11 kW, the legal maximum for riders who hold only a car licence.

Large windshield, complete with hand-guards, for consistently better protection.
Top box kit, with 46 litre top box capable of holding 2 full-face helmets.
Leg cover.
Scooter cover, with openings for accessories. Comes in grey, customised with the Piaggio logo.
E-Power electronic alarm, with electronic key and two-button remote control.
Anti-theft chain with semi-square links and padlock. Extremely strong. Length 120 cm.


Colours
The Piaggio XEvo 125, 250 and 400 i.e. come in a choice of three different colour schemes, all with metallic finish: Sirio Grey, Graphite Black and Midnight Blue.
